On August 1, the first session of the 2026 Sino-German Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology Application Training Course kicked off at Guangdong Environmental Protection Engineering Vocational College.

Guided by the Nanhai Hydrogen Industry Association and co-hosted with leXsolar GmbH, this milestone training program brought together nearly 30 participants from academia and industry. It marks another important step forward for Foshan’s Nanhai District in connecting world-class vocational education with the local green energy sector.

Using leXsolar’s experimental systems, participants from universities, vocational education institutions, and industry gained hands-on experience with technologies including PEM fuel cells, water electrolysis for hydrogen production, and hydrogen refueling systems.

The practical approach of the course provided an opportunity to experiment, exchange ideas, and—most importantly—connect theory with real-world applications.

The course also went beyond the classroom. During the visit to Xianhu Hydrogen Valley, participants had the opportunity to see how hydrogen technologies are being developed and applied in the real world, including visits to the Foshan Xianhu Laboratory, the Hydrogen Energy Center, and companies working across the hydrogen value chain.

Bringing together German experience in technical education and laboratory-based training with the growing hydrogen ecosystem in Foshan creates opportunities not only to share knowledge, but also to develop the people who will shape this industry in the years ahead.

Our trainer for Spanish-speaking countries, Pablo Moreno, leads a training course with SUMEQUIPOS in Colombia. The professional series of leXsolar products with the topics wind and photovoltaic were selected for this training.

The team of leXsolar is very proud to be awarded for the newest development, the leXsolar-H2 Lab solution.

H2 Lab is a training platform that covers the main aspects of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and fuel cell technologies. It is designed for technical, vocational, and educational training and consists of three experimental kits and a series of digital courses to create a solid theoretical and practical foundation in the field of hydrogen energy. Each experimental kit contains all the necessary components and is equipped in a robust aluminium suitcase. The modular design of the system, interchangeability of the components within experimental kits, and high-quality manuals with predefined experiments allow the easy storage and use of the training equipment, making the H2 Lab a helpful tool for a variety of classroom situations.
